Aly Gill is a second-year student at the University of Florida pursuing a major in public relations and a minor in business administration. She is highly involved with organizations and activities that align with three of her biggest passions: business, community service and sports.
Aly is constantly seeking opportunity for professional growth and expanded knowledge of the business world. She currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Public Relations for Alpha Kappa Psi professional fraternity and will serve as an Emerging Leader for Enactus this upcoming spring.
With her Enactus involvement, Aly has been given the opportunity to serve her community through various projects. She currently volunteers with the Investing In Your Future project. She also volunteers weekly as a mentor for “at-risk” students at local Gainesville schools through the Center for Leadership and Service.
As a lover of sports, Aly is specializing in sports management. She currently interns with sports social media app Fancred, and works part time as a scorekeeper for her university’s recreational sports department. Aly partakes in obsessing over the New York Giants and being an avid Manning Brothers fangirl in her free time.
In regards to personality, her friends will tell you that she appreciates quick-witted individuals with a good sense of humor and a touch of sarcasm. She enjoys copious amounts of Chipotle in addition to excessive napping. Aly’s fun-loving spirit connects well with children, and she occasionally works as a substitute teacher at Baby Gator. Most importantly, Aly loves being a Gator.
